With gripping dialogue and eye-popping artwork, this comic grabs on tight and does not let go. A great introduction into the series, full of adventure and self discovery for Dusu in the world of elves.
Well written story. The vivacious and complex characters lend credibility to the tale. Though, I wish the book had been longer.
Beautiful art & letters. Classic theme told in clever way. Use of popular ideas like elves, primitive nature, star crossed lovers.
Masterful scenes giving dignity to African features, individual culture and mythology. A bit complex in the backstory but worth the read.
Dusu Path of the Ancient, is another great story by Stranger Comics. With all of Stranger Comics' books, this too is filled with magnificent artwork that should be on display at the Louvre, in Paris. But, it doesn't stop there. The writing in Dusu is so captivating it makes you, the reader, feel like you are actually in the book itself... amazing story telling, definitely Hugo Award worthy. Dusu Path of the Ancient, is a ground breaking Elven tribe/coming of age story that's on a "Path of the Awesomeness." I definitely want to see where this goes.
