There should have some kind of content advisory on the cover. Back in 2011, I thought this would be a fun Christmas gift for my little girl, age 10 at the time. I did not even have time to read it first, because I was relying on the good reviews. Imagine my shock as I was flipping through this book, about to put it in a gift box, when I notice explicit sexual content, such as how to take pictures of your privates to send to your lover!! Please, consider that this book is adult only content. Hope this helps. I sure could have used a warning. It was a close call!

Great color great book! Full of great information for male and female alike. Would buy as a gift for anyone! My little daughter loves it!
I work in the library and I am constantly grabbing at books that catch the eye, whether on the shelf, or as they go over the counter. From six feet up this book grabbed me and I had a delightful afternoon one work day shifting through the various illustrations. On each page a crew of blacked out figurines inform you of all the things in the world that you should know about; including how to build a disco ball out of old CDs, how to mix alcoholic beverages like a pro, how to get stains out of clothing, how to survive an alien attack, and more! Some of the advice is highly useful, some just a little on the bizarre side, but the book makes for an excellent conversation piece, coffee table attraction or just plain fun distraction from a boring afternoon. I highly reccomend it, and it's companion Show Me How to any adult in your life with a sense of humor and an interest in learning.
BEWARE of the "LOVE" section before giving as a gift to the young aged family members. Close call.
I got this for my grandson and couldn't give it to him because of explicit sexual illustrations. This is an adult book in my opinion. However, there were many other things to learn. Lots of illustrations I didn't expect.
I love this series. I'm one of those people that loves collecting random facts and trying new things. This has a great collection of interesting things in bite-sized, easy-to-follow steps. A lot of times I don't even try half the stuff, I just have so much fun reading and looking at the illustrations.
This book is almost as good as the first one, but there's definitely more "exotic" activities than there are "everyday" than in the first Show Me How. An example would be that the book starts with an "Amaze" section (There are twelve in all, Amaze, Trick, Create, Style, Love, Nest, Grow, Help, Go, Celebrate, Indulge, Move) and offers instruction on how to win at a coin toss, ride a mechanical bull, or travel by jetpack.
The book has a total of 422 "activities" some useful, some not, depending on your situation (though I doubt most men will ever need to apply lipstick with their cleavage, see #43).
The last bit of instruction in the book is how to jump out of a plane, and oddly enough, the safety warning symbol that graces many other pages in the book, is nowhere to be found.
Don't buy this for your 9 year-old nephew. This include illustrations of sex positions (i.e. elevator, mile high club).

Nothing wrong with the book -- it's clever and fun. But it's not for kids to read through on Christmas morning with granny.
